Building an Airplane in a Garage
Mike began building his RV7 when he lived in an apartment. When the wing section got to big for the apartment, he bought a house. Eventually, when the plane got too big for the garage and all the tools needed to built it it; he tore out a wall between the garage and master bedroom to make the garage longer. Below are pictures of some of the tools, tables, wall compartments and shelves needed for parts that are essential for building an airplane. At this point in time (year 2010) he has yet to put in an engine, put on a prop, and paint it. It is a side by side, two seater and will be able to be flown from both seats. He has been very busy rebuilding the boat I bought - a fine vessel that needed bringing into the 21st Century. It is becoming a beautiful home.
